IVPN Performance Testing
- IVPN US speed test – after connecting to a IVPN server in New Jersey we tested our Internet speed and found it to be 30.98 Mbps download and 4.04 Mbps upstream.
- IVPN UK speed test – we also tested a connection to a VPN server in London and our Internet speed was 15.90 Mbps download and 3.76 Mbps upstream.
- Conclusion – IVPN performed well in both our US and UK speed tests. Note: you can expect any VPN to slow your connection as the traffic is being encrypted.

IVPN Review : Conclusion
We enjoyed testing IVPN. The setup was simple with their custom client software for Windows. Their set up guides were complete for Mac, iOS and Android. I like that IVPN offers instructions for both OpenVPN and L2TP connections on mobile devices. They also have a section for DD-WRT routers. Performance was good in both the US and UK. The price is a bit high for monthly sign ups but IVPN offers discounts on longer terms. We enjoyed the service and suggest you give it a try.
